🍪 Sissy’s Cookies – Cookie Decorating Class Terms & Conditions 🍪

Welcome to cookie‑time! Before we dive into icing, sprinkles, and sugary magic, here are the sweet details you need to know.

✨ Who Can Join

Our classes are perfect for ages 8 and up. Want a kid‑free night? Treat the little ones to an add‑on kit they can decorate at home! Each kit includes the class PowerPoint so you can teach them your new cookie‑wizard skills.

🎨 What You’ll Learn

Get ready to level up your cookie game. We’ll cover:

How royal icing is made
Why icing consistencies matter
Decorating techniques like marbling, outlining, wet‑on‑wet, brush embroidery, and painting
Creative freedom — follow the design or go rogue and make something totally “you”

🧁 What to Bring

Just your smile! Everything else is provided, including my delicious sugar cookies.

Optional:

An apron (if you’re a “joyfully messy” decorator)
Glasses for viewing the PowerPoint
Your phone — I love seeing your photos

By purchasing a ticket, you agree that photos of you (and anyone you purchased a ticket for) may be used by Sissy’s Cookies for social media and marketing.

👨‍👩‍👧 Kids, Seating & Space

Kids under 16 must have a registered adult taking the class with them.
Due to limited space, observers aren’t allowed.
Each person needs their own ticket and kit — no sharing.

📦 What You’ll Take Home

You’ll leave with a box of beautifully decorated cookies that will dry for 24–48 hours. Perfect for gifting… or keeping all to yourself.

👯 Group Seating

Coming with friends? Yay! We have 14 seats per class, so register early and send me a note with your group names so I can seat you together.

💸 Cancellation Policy

Cancel 7+ days before class → full refund
Cancel within 7 days → you’ll be moved to the next available class
You can always transfer your ticket to a friend

🤒 Illness Policy

If you’re sick:

Before the 7‑day cutoff → full refund
After the cutoff → message us before class starts and we’ll move you to the next class
No‑shows without contacting us → no refund or transfer

🎁 DIY Take‑Home Kits

Kits stay fresh for about a week. Cookies are heat‑sealed, and you can freeze them to extend freshness — but decorating within the first week tastes the best.

Our kitchen uses common allergens. Please consider your dietary needs before registering.

❗ Class Cancellation by Sissy’s Cookies

In the rare event we need to cancel, you’ll receive a full refund.

Classes with fewer than 4 attendees will be canceled. You may choose a refund or transfer. We’ll notify you 5 days before if attendance is low.

🌧 Weather Policy

If weather gets wild, we’ll reach out with options. We’ll always find a solution.
